BGBA Buyers Council connects with Uttara Members at exclusive meet

Bangladesh Garments Buying House Association (BGBA) Buyers Council panel hosts a get-together – where Uttara zone buying house dynamic leaders meet and greet at Uttara Club, Dhaka. On the occasion, more than 300+ BGBA members from the Uttara area were present. It is important to note that the election of BGBA for the term 2024-2026 will be held on 2nd March 2024.

“Buyer’s Council,” already started their election Campaign, under the leadership of Panel Leader BGBA Ex-President, Kazi Iftequer Hossain.

At the event, the leaders exchanged views on the present situation of the Garments Industry & Buying Business. And how our Panel can work together in an organized way to move forward to RMG business.

Addressing the session, Kyaw Sein Thay (Dolly), Managing Director, Cloths R Us Limited highlighted the current status of RMG Sector.

At the event. Sammiloto Parishad panel leader SM Mannan Kochi joined the event and supported the Buyers Council. BGMEA VP, Mohammad Nasir, Director, Harun ur Rashid, Mijanur Rahman, Torque Group Managing Director, Mohammad Kamal Uddin were also present.

Sammiloto panel leader said if he is elected, he will work together with all the stakeholders for RMG sector transformation.

BGBA is one of the top trading houses for buying houses in the readymade garments (RMG) sector of Bangladesh. BGBA was approved by the Director of Trade Organizations (DTO) of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The association is a vibrant member of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).

Bangladesh Garments Buying House Association acts as a protection for all buying houses in the country. The association wants to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of its members. At present, the general membership of BGBA is 1500+. It is the desperate and earnest effort of some enterprising members to further strengthen and strengthen the bonds between the members of the BGBA.

BGBA is actively involved in policymaking. It conducts research and analysis of the RMG industry for development and market trends at home and abroad. In addition to discussing the current context, problems, and possibilities of the garment business in Bangladesh.
